About Me

 I'm John, a Hawaii-born graphic designer fueled by island life and creativity.

My journey started with childhood sketches, led to art school, and blossomed into 20+ years in advertising and marketing. I've collaborated on campaigns for brands like Burger King, KFC, Wet 'n' Wild, and the Honolulu Symphony, plus heartfelt projects with Make-A-Wish Hawaii and First Assembly of God.

Today, I focus on freelance design, personal art experiments (think shorebreak-inspired resin pours and wood pieces), and sharing glimpses of daily life—from work wins to surfing sessions.

Passions beyond the screen: Surfing, hiking hidden trails, photography, golf on flat-wave days, travel for local flavors, and restoring fun rides like my kei truck "Dai-Hot-Tsu."

Skills: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom; plus hands-on fun with resin, wood, and fixing just about anything.
